چکیده

Environmental Concern and depletion in petroleum reservoirs caused interest search of alternate energies for internal combustion engine. Waste plastic materials being non-biodegradable, can be suitably processed using pyrolysis to obtain liquid fraction which has properties like fuels. 20% oil (PO) blends with diesel may utilized engines. However, adding biodiesel by renewable nature reduces emissions. In the present work PO blend is considered access impact injection timing on engine performance. Engine tests were performed at four different 230, 210, 190, 250 270 before TDC. The (PO20+60D+B20) showed improved performance advancing higher in-cylinder pressures rapid heat release rate. Retarding timings results early working stroke thermal efficiency. Further retarded IT 19o bTDC lower lead reduced 210 improvements BTE, emissions HC, CO, Smoke respectively NOx.

Rice Bran Oil Biodiesel as an Additive in Diesel- Ethanol Blends for Diesel Engines

A number of studies currently focus on the renewable fuels to reduce the reliance on petroleum fuels. Biofuels such as biodiesel and bioethanol have been studied and tested in many countries including India. One of the methods to reduce the use of fossil fuel is blending ethanol with fossil diesel. However, an emulsifier or a co-solvent is needed to homogenize the diesel-ethanol blends. The ric...
